WILD ANIMAL CONTROL*

Systematic approach to trapping and/or excluding squirrels, raccoons, birds, bats, etc from attics, chimneys, crawlspaces or wall void areas. Inspection of premises* are necessary. Minor repairs/exclusions can be made by ABES following trapping or flushing animals from nesting area(s). Or referrals to a qualified contractor for cosmetic or major repair work will be provided, as needed.

MOLE CONTROL              

Description:

Small eyes, ears are fur covered and hard to see, and small cylindrical bodies typically weighing less than a half pound.

Habits

Did you know-- A 5 ounce mole will consume 45-50 lbs of worms and insects each year and have a high metabolism.

Ground temperatures makes winter activity sporadic. Causing nearly around the clock underground movement in early spring thru late fall.

They establish primary and secondary feeding runs. Primary runs typically run along driveways, mulch beds, or parallel with hillsides.

Moles reproduce in the spring with litter size averaging 2-3 young. The young develop quickly and are typically out tunneling on their own by mid summer.

Warnings

A mole can dig surface tunnels at approximately 18 feet/hour--and travel through existing tunnels at about 80 feet/minute.
